For the convenience of the patient, these studies are performed in our office.
Furthermore, unlike some other facilities where nerve conduction studies and EMG's are
performed and interpreted by a technician or physical therapist then signed off by a physician
minimally (or not at all) trained in neurodiagnostic testing, all NCS and EMG studies are
personally performed and interpreted by Dr. Ki Jung, who is fellowship-trained in
neurodiagnostic testing. At Northlake Neurology, high-quality patient care and safety are
important to us.
If you require testing for numbness, tingling, and/or pain, ask your doctor for a referral to
Northlake Neurology for safe, dependable, and accurate nerve testing. As with any diagnostic
testing, no neurological consultation is required for you to have an EEG, EMG, or NCS.
Test results are often available within 1-2 days!*
*Final results are sent to your referring physician within 1-2 days, excluding time for postal delivery.

Inpatient Hospital Consultations:
Dr. Jung is on staff at Presbyterian Hospital-Huntersville and at Lake Norman Regional Medical
Center as a Consultant. He is available for routine and urgent neurological consultations at
these hospitals.
Most routine inpatient consultations will be seen within 24 hours upon your doctor's request.
Urgent inpatient consultations require a direct physician-to-physician call from the requesting
physician. Depending on the details and urgency of the case, the consultation will be seen
within an appropriate time frame.

Routine inpatient consultation requests Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday 8:00am - 12:00 noon
Urgent inpatient consultation requests Per Physician Discretion
