Our Physician
Ki S. Jung, M.D.
Dr. Jung hails from North Carolina and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), where he was also a John Motley Morehead
Scholar. After earning his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest
University (WFUBMC), Dr. Jung went on to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in
Pennsylvania, where he completed his internal medicine internship and neurology residency. He also
served as Chief Resident during his time at Pittsburgh and completed a fellowship in Clinical
Neurophysiology at UPMC.
Following the completion of his training, Dr. Jung relocated back to his home state of North Carolina. He
was a member of a successful private practice in Gastonia, before being recruited by Piedmont
HealthCare to provide neurological services for the beautiful Lake Norman and Huntersville areas.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Jung holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, certified by the World
Taekwondo Federation (WTF). He also enjoys a variety of activities, including golfing, soccor, and boating.
