Ki  S. Jung, MD

Dr. Jung, the founder of Northlake Neurology, hails from North Carolina
and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at
the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), where he was also
a
John Motley Morehead Scholar. After earning his medical degree from
the
Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University
(WFUBMC), Dr. Jung went on to the
University of Pittsburgh Medical
Center (UPMC) in Pennsylvania, where he completed his internal
medicine internship and neurology residency. He also served as Chief
Resident during his time at Pittsburgh and completed a fellowship in
Clinical Neurophysiology at UPMC.

Following the completion of his training, Dr. Jung relocated back to his
home state of North Carolina. He has since been recruited by
Presbyterian Novant Medical Group to provide neurological services for
the beautiful Lake Norman, Huntersville, and surrounding areas. He also
served as  the Medical Director of Outpatient and Community
Neurosciences for Presbyterian Novant Medical Group from 2008-2010.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Jung holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in
Taekwondo, certified by the
World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). He also
enjoys a variety of other activities, including golfing, soccer, and
swimming.
